ambush at the church between January 17 and 24 during church service to “trail a church member.” But a letter addressed to the Today Newspaper and signed by the Resident Pastor of the Perez Chapel, Raymond Acquah, it said such an incident did not occur at the church. “For the avoidance of doubt, we want to state that there was no security detail at the Perez Dome to trail, harass or arrest anybody. Neither were church members alarmed because of the presence of security personnel on the premises.” The statement added that because the church’s Dzorwolu branch accommodates thousands of worshipers, they always have armed police personnel available to provide security and to assure worshipers of their safety.
